In the initial sessions, I strive to cultivate an inclusive and affirming environment where trust and understanding can flourish. It's essential for me to learn about your unique experiences and intersecting identities. From this foundation, I develop a personalized care plan tailored to your specific wants, needs, and aspirations. Therapy is a sanctuary where you can unburden yourself without fear of judgment, supported by someone attuned to your experiences and deeply compassionate. We're all wired to move toward health and healing, yet societal pressures and systemic barriers can impede our progress. Together, we'll unravel these challenges, empowering you to slow down, turn inward, and cultivate self-awareness to overcome the obstacles hindering your path.

At this time, all sessions are virtual Telehealth via HIPAA-compliant platforms. I do not offer in-person sessions at this time.

The No Surprises Act was enacted in January 2022 and is part of a legislative package passed in December 2020. It is meant to protect clients from receiving unexpected medical bills. Under this law, you are entitled to a "Good Faith Estimate" of the cost of your medical care before you receive it. Should we decide to work together, I will review this in more detail during our intake process.

Currently, I’m in-network with Aetna and out-of-network with other insurance providers. If you have another insurance provider and want to use your insurance to pay for therapy, you may have access to out-of-network benefits. I recommend you call the number on the back of your insurance card to ask if your plan includes out-of-network benefits for mental health services.
If applicable, questions you will want to ask:
What is my deductible? How much of my deductible have I met this year?
Is pre-approval required before obtaining out-of-network services to be reimbursed?
How do I obtain reimbursement for therapy with an out-of-network provider? How do I submit claim forms for reimbursement?
If I submit a claim, will I be reimbursed the total amount I paid or a portion? (If they ask for codes, you can give them 90791 for the initial assessment and 90834 for individual sessions).
